What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is the most conservative way of replacing missing teeth. The implant is secured in the jaw bone, replacing the function of the root of your previously extracted tooth. An abutment and a crown are installed on top of the implant as the final step of the restoration process. After single tooth implant placement, your implant tooth will function as your natural tooth.

How long does dental implant last?

When cared for properly, dental implants can last a lifetime as would your natural teeth if cared properly.

How much do implants cost?

The cost is dependent on the current condition of the area being replaced for an implant and your insurance coverage. However, the whole implant crown procedure could range from $2500 - $5000 out of pocket cost. This includes the implant placement, abutment, and crown.
